Yes the beautiful game. If you left the States you now know what the rest of the world does for fun. Who would have guessed? So, you brought home a really cool soccer jersey. Great! Despite the big beer logo and the bright primary colors, I bet it’s a really cool shirt. Now what to do with it.
You may be tempted to add your jersey to your regular wardrobe. The temptations are many. Those of you with better fashion sense may equivocate saying, "all the other RMs do it," or "I don’t have any others shirts since my younger siblings stole all my clothes the day I left for the MTC."
I hear you and I feel your pain but here comes the tough love.
You should wear the jersey when you are:
- playing soccer
- watching soccer (especially if the team playing and the team on your shirt are the same)
- sleeping
- exercising
- in the country where you found the shirt
You should not wear the jersey when you are:
- on a date
- at school
- hanging out with friends
- at a job interview
There, that wasn’t so bad.
